LIFE TRACK COUNSELING

Stressful events can affect emotional and physical health. Transitions and challenges can lead to strong feelings of sadness or anxiety. These events include:

Relationship struggles

Job stress or being laid off

Death of a loved one or other loss

Suffering with an illness or injury

Moving to a new home

Getting divorced

Money problems

Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling

Treatment for drug addiction requires an organized effort including many different elements. Inpatient and outpatient treatment programs are paired with counseling. The treatment programs normally include sessions for therapy and education to help the individual understand the effects of drugs, withdrawal, and the emotional effects of addiction and recovery. The main goal of inpatient or outpatient programs are to allow the person to focus on becoming sober and avoiding relapse in the future.
